EOU Raids Four Premises of Education Department DPO Ajit Amar in Disproportionate Assets Case Allegation of ₹6.22 Million in Disproportionate Assets; Bank Transactions Worth Crores Under Scanner EOU Examining Seized Documents; Bribery Allegations Also Under Investigation Koshi Zone: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) on Friday carried out simultaneous raids at four locations linked to Ajit Amar, District Programme Officer (DPO) of the Education Department , in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The searches were conducted at his ancestral, private, and official premises located in Saharsa, Siwan, and Chhapra. Local police were deployed to maintain security during the operation. According to the EOU's preliminary investigation, Ajit Amar allegedly accumulated assets worth ₹62,20,550 beyond his known sources of income, amounting to approximately 72.35% more than his legitimate earnings.
