A criminal surrendered fearing police raid

Two criminals who carried out robbery incidents were arrested with country-made pistols


Koshi Zone, Saharsa. Two criminals involved in two consecutive robbery incidents in two police station areas of the district were arrested. Rs 13 thousand was recovered from the criminals from the looted amount. While 1 country-made pistol was also recovered from the criminals. Scared of police raid, their third criminal surrendered in the local civil court. Sadar SDPO Alok Kumar told in a press conference that on April 27, three armed criminals riding on a bike committed robbery in two police station areas of the district. In which one incident was done in Sonvarsha Kachhari OP area under Sadar police station area. While the second incident was done in Saur Bazar police station area. Cases were registered regarding both the incidents. In which Sadar police station case number - 501/25 was registered on April 27.  Saur Bazar police station case number - 131/25 was registered on 28 April. He further told that both the incidents were carried out by three youths riding on the same colour bike. After the complaint was registered, a team was formed under the leadership of SP Himanshu on his instructions. The team formed by the SP included Saur Bazar police station chief Ajay Kumar Paswan, Sonvarsha Kachhari OP chief Anjali Bharti, police sub-inspector Gudiya Kumari posted in Saur Bazar police station, Raghavendra Kumar and driver Vishal Kumar, who conducted the raid. In which two criminals were arrested. A country-made pistol was recovered from them. Along with this, Rs 13 thousand was also recovered from the looted amount. He told that the arrested criminal was Rajan Kumar, son of Mahadev Ram, resident of Dhamasaini village, ward number - 48 of Sadar police station area. The second criminal was Manish Kumar, son of Vishnu Dev Sharma, resident of Subedari Tola of Sadar police station area. A country-made pistol was recovered from him.  A total of 13 thousand rupees of looted money was recovered from both of them separately. 
He said that fearing police raid, the third accused Manu Kumar, son of Laxman Sharma, resident of Dhamasaini village, Ward No. - 46, Sadar police station area, surrendered in the local civil court.
