Koshi Zone: Newly appointed Circle Officer (CO) of Kahara Block in Saharsa district, Niranjan Kumar Mishra, formally assumed charge on Tuesday. Soon after taking office, he held his first review meeting with revenue officials and employees at the Circle Office.

During the meeting, he conducted a detailed review of pending revenue cases, land disputes, mutation (Dakhil-Kharij), record corrections, and other administrative matters. He instructed all officials and staff to ensure that every task is completed within the prescribed timeline while maintaining transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

Speaking after assuming charge, CO Niranjan Kumar Mishra said that his foremost priority is the speedy and impartial disposal of land dispute cases. He noted that land-related disputes often lead to social tension and law-and-order issues. Timely resolution of such matters will not only provide relief to the public but also help prevent unnecessary conflicts.

He directed officials and employees to dispose of all revenue-related applications within the stipulated time and to treat every citizen visiting the office with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism. The meeting also focused on the maintenance of revenue records, expediting mutation processes, strengthening online services, and improving the overall efficiency of revenue administration. The Circle Officer stated that the revenue administration would be made more effective through greater transparency and accountability in line with the government's vision.

Revenue Officer Aman Raj and all revenue employees of Kahara Block were present at the meeting. They welcomed the new Circle Officer and assured him of their full cooperation in strengthening revenue administration and ensuring timely delivery of public services.
